  • Hey Tim! I dont have my drum set with me at this time... only a gibraltar pad.. would this pad will "keep me up" ? or i have to practice on a real bass drum to develop a better technique? what do you think? .. and Thanks your videos are great!

  • @batako0o

Thanks for the kind words glad you like the vids

    Practicing ...

will keep you in shape real drums, pads, using the Futz tapping on the floor its all using your muscles.I play on whatever is available

  • Can you explain why almost every fast double bass player has very tight springs??

  • @MrStevendrums

overall tighter springs gives a faster response.

But all my pedals are set different.

  • How about the rebound? Because the rebound on the rubber pad isn't like the rebound on a real bass drum head is it? Or can you get the same rebound? Thanx. Awesome vid.

  • @BsNoMo

Actually a real bass drum head has a faster response.

    Tim

  • @timwaterson I would like to know your opinion on the perfect beater angle. There are a lot of stories going on on the internet where some have their beaters almost against the head ad where others have them like miles away. In my opinion it all comes to personal preferences, as long as your strokes are loud enough. Love your vids btw. Keep up the good work Tim! cheers..

  • @TimWaterson i literally tap my feet at work all night and thats how i can do the meshuggah bleed triplet single triplet single anything does really work just gotta keep practicing

  • Nice socks.
