Balrog (US) Hard Trial Challenge Compilation

NOTE: Holding any KICK will make Balrog's Super/Ultra attack with Uppercuts rather than Straights. Use that knowledge to make his ultra connect for the last two combos.

So, Cliff figured that these vids could be in HD if they were a little longer, so here are some compilations for your HD viewing pleasure. . .hopefully. Just check the individual combo vids if you need any specific tips.

Balrog is a beast. I'm definitely going to play him more often now that I know how he combos. Combos aside though, his 3 button charge punch is pretty sick too. Can't wait to see how I fair online.

My mate can land that move perfectly to his Ultra and give all the damage to the enemy, while here we see that his ultra combo failed for half xd. Anyway doesnt seem the hardest trial at all but still. The only trial i got all is Vega becus i trained some time with him.

Yeah, lol I did these videos before I realized holding Kick made Balrog's ultra/super do uppercuts and connect with air combos. I'm a bit too lazy to make new videos though. ^_^;; Props to you though, Vega's trials had some finicky timing to them.

i am a monster with balrog online but I cannot get Hard Trial #4 for some reason. WhenI do he two crouching light punches and try to do the EX dash upper, i always get the Dash Low Smash instead. Any advice for that??/

Press forward+up+kick and he should to the upper every time.

@Nash8823 i see that vegetin has already explained it to you but remember charge down back like ure blokcing low then charge up back so he does headbutt and as soon as he lands do ultra it took me 15 minutes to get it down now i can do it soo easily so good luck

@Nash8823 instead of down, up, its down-back, up-back, so you never lose your back charge. you wont get it for a while believe me. when you do though, it feels like the easiest ultra to combo into

how do you connect the head punch (i mean charge down, up + EX punch) with the ultra??

Im on the 5th, it's stupid how hard it is to connect a dash upper with any hit that begins crouched, i get 90% of the time the armor breaking one

@normstorm It's all in the timing man. All the advice I can give you is fully charge the FA and then dash in and immediately crouch and hit the Medium and Light kicks in succession. Work on the timing before you do the headbutt. You should get it eventually if you haven't already gotten it.

Great Advice. Finally got the 4th trial done and currently doin the 5th.

The only advice for that prob is to make sure you hit the uppercut clean! It has 2 be clean back to forward, not even close to a diagonal
