The Turing Test

Artificial Intelligence Computer Algorithms compete with each other in a Game Show setting where they attempt to pass the 'Turing Test' and be accepted as human.The work represents a new paradigm in computer generated filmmaking. The realistic 3D human-like digital actors were recorded in real-time directly from the display of a standard PC. The characters' dialogue was created from textwith a text to speech engine or automaticallysychronized to real voice audio clips. The digital actors were 'directed' using a markup language to describe behaviours and expressions, with real-time interactive playback.Software: LifeFXHardware: PC, Graphics Card

wow. that's cool. I own lots-a-bots if you ever heard of it. We were in competition with RunABot but our programmnig language has gone beyond theirs so much that it's not even in th esame class. This used to be my passion. I had the opportunity to talk to Dr Richard Wallace (the creator of ALICE). I always had the dream of winning that Leobner prize. I see Eliza will always lose, that's funny.

It's funny, kids would do better identifying the bot than regular Turing judges. All they would have to do is reference their popular culture. A bot cannot complete a simple quote such as "To infinity, and ..." or "When you wish upon a..." or "Toto, I'm afraid we're not in .... anymore", or "Who lives in a pineapple under the..."

That's the easiest way to spot a bot.
