Eve Online: The Oracle

The new battlecruiser "Oracle" in action. From all 4 of the new tier 3 battlecruisers this one is my favorite (I can fly them all). This footage is taken from the test server. The oracle does not have a skin yet (goes for the other three as well), so this is why it appears white.

The new Battlecruisers dish out Battleship like damage. Although the tanks on these are not so good, expecially the Oracle can be fit with a decent active armor tank, more then enough to do service as a ratting boat. Though the lack of a dronebay to fight of the frig spawns is a problem, as this video shows. The NPC battleships drop fast enough, but killing the frigs takes some more time and managing transversal. But all in all a great new ship. Will be on the Tranquility server coming next winter expansion, and is now on the singularity test server.

High slots: 8 x Mega pulse laser II (standard multifrequency L)

Med slots: 10 MN afterburner II. Medium cap booster (Cap booster 200), cap recharger II

Low slots: Damage control II, EM armor hardener II, Thermal hardener II, Medium armor repper II, 2 x Heatsink II

Rigs: 2 x Anti EM pump, Anti thermic pump

Fit has been thrown together a bit fast, so might be tweaked better. With faction ammo dps output will be better, so performance in this video can be better if right ammo/mods are available. EM and thermal armor resists are 76 and 74 % if i remember it correctly, so it might do good as a ratter, but i doubt it will do well in an anomaly. Especially havens and sanctums will be hard in these ships. Or not. You never know!

Anyway, concerning the new BC's it seems an AMARR VICTOR!!! is in order now.
