Call me crazy, but I don't think documentary footage exists from events taking place over 350 years ago. This movie is just another excuse for Jacopetti and Prosperi to exploit people under a guise of documentary-realism. Also, the people portraying slaves are not actors, just people - barely compensated - put through the same demeaning and sadistic treatment as the enslaved of the British and American slave trade. What, really, is the purpose of this trash? How can anyone justify such snuff?
