This is a revised version of the video posted a few days before the Oregon Country Fair, with additional photos of the completed booth taken during the Fair. Enjoy!

The 2011 Oregon Country Fair took place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, July 8, 9 and 10. This year visitors to the Fair were greeted by an entirely new KLCC / WOW Hall Booth. The old booth that the two nonprofits shared since 1992 finally reached the end of its usefulness. It was recently replaced by a stunning new booth!

KLCC, the WOW Hall, and Rainbow Valley Design & Construction collaborated on the project since last summer. Booth plans were prepared by Rainbow Valley, who also spearheaded the construction of this "showpiece" booth. Volunteers from KLCC, the WOW Hall, and the OCF Construction Crew provided muscle and skills as well.

From the new booth, KLCC 89.7 FM broadcast the music of the Main Stage all weekend long. KLCC hosts interviewed musicians, entertainers, and Fair personnel, providing music, information and Fair tales to the listening audience throughout the weekend. KLCC friends and family were on hand to meet the public and chat about KLCC, NPR, public radio, the Fair, and anything else. Fair goers were encouraged to stop by the booth, tune in at 89.7 FM, or listen to the live stream at www.klcc.org

On the other side of the booth, the WOW Hall operated a storage service during Fair hours. Fair goers could check their backpack, costume, instrument or what-have-you and WOW Hall personnel watched it for $1. Fair goers could also find the WOW Hall Notes, hear about upcoming shows, and sign up to become a WOW Hall member or volunteer.

KLCC and the WOW Hall are two popular Eugene institutions that both came into existence around the same time as the Oregon Country Fair. KLCC, a listener-supported public radio station, now serves over 88,000 listeners in western and central Oregon. The WOW Hall, an all ages performing arts venue, provides year round concerts and events and enjoys the support of approximately 900 members and 400 volunteers. Neighbors on 8th Ave in downtown Eugene as well, both organizations enjoy their long time partnership and commitment to bringing a rich variety of music to the community.

The KLCC / WOW Hall Booth is located near the Main Stage Meadow.
