What is Thermal Reconditioning?
Thermal Reconditioning is a Thio-based chemical procedure which uses heat to restructure the hair's protein bond, enabling those with frizzy, curly, or wavy hair to experience permanently straight hair while at the same time preserving the health and improving the feel, texture, softness, & shine, leaving the hair completely manageable. Why do I offer Thermal Reconditioning to my clientele? Today, black women have become more disenchanted with the damaging effects of sodium-hydroxide relaxers and are seeking another method of permanently straightening their hair while simultaneously achieving long, healthy hair. In addition, black women are seeking a hair straightening method that will lessen the amount of hair processing time on a daily basis. Thermal Reconditioning is the perfect solution for women who want healthy, straight, manageable, healthy hair. In order to successfully execute a Thermal Reconditioning Treatment on a client, you must be trained by a certified stylist who knows how to do the treatment on African American hair textures.  Gina Rivera is one of very few stylists around the world who has mastered the Thermal Reconditioning Technique on African American hair.

  • Holy crap , these come out much nicer than a normal salon relaxer . I am more confident in investing in this now .

  • @sharpiesnifferrawr Be sure you interview your stylist and she is a Thermal Reconditioning specialist. The Japanese Straightening can be life changing for you but if it is done by someone that does not have any experience, it can be very damaging.

I will soon post the top 10 questions you should be asking your stylist to be sure she is qualified.

  • I have african american hair (of course xD). However, I've been dying to get a j-perm. I want one so bad, but I'm scared that it's gonna damage my hair, or do some horrible, ferocious effect on it in the long run ;-;. Are there any effects like that?

  • @FrostWolfProductions Do You mean japanese Straightening or a Jerri Curl , Well either way, it all depends on the condition of your hair and the hands that will be doing the process.

  • ***HI HAIRSTALENT, need some info, please**I would like to have the J-perm done however it makes your hair straight & my preference is for curly/wavy hair. My question is this, is it possible to get the thermal recon (making my hair straight) & then afterwards (possibly a few months) have another curly perm put on top of or done to the thermally reconditioned hair? can I curl (with a perm) the thermally reconditioned hair? would appreciate it greatly if u would get back to me on this. Thanks.

  • @nowgleaning I have done this procedure on a few clients that have healthy thermaled hair without color. The curl was weak, and ended up wavy. Although both clients were happy

  • I NEED THAT

  • @iiteethchew If done correctly your hair will be heathy, strong and you will not get breakage. It is different then the Keratin.

It is a perm-it will grow out

It is safe and is not unhealthy to your health as a Keratin

and over time your hair will be healthier than ever.
