  • 1:42 we have 4 fingers Howie.

  • A decatonic point of view would close the theory like a Androgynous holy nature (pentatonic major and pentatonic minor). Right hand and left hand e.t.c. Number 10, the holiest of all.

  • couldn't he have a found a better singer for the sailing song? I (am white) can sing better than that!!

  • erm 5 notes, pentagon, pentagram...pentatonic.

    It's not a snowflake, it's a fractal with 5 repeating parts.

  • nice, they used Sylvian/Sakamoto's "Forbidden Colours". well I guess it is a pentatonic melody!

  • And blackadder

  • hm, what do you guys makes of the imagery in the background? i.e. rotating pentagram, alchemical symbols, perfect snowflake, euclidean geometry, etc.?

also, the choice of Led Zeppelin... Isn't the "Whole Lotta Love" riff a rip-off of a Muddy Waters lick?

  • What's the music when he starts explaining it?

  • yup and for QI as well

  • Isn't Howard Goodall the man who done the music for the TV series Red Dwarf?
