Fighters Megamix Gameplay and End Scene

This is some game play footage from the Sega Saturn Fighters Megamix set to Fighting Vipers rules. Fighting Vipers was always a favorite of mine due to the armor break moves and well as the ability for a dramatic end move of kicking your opponent through the wall of the ring (I was most happy I captured this on Raxel's level, where it is the most dramatic). The first level shown (which is actually match number five) shows Candy (Japan name: Honey) fighting Raxel and displays some frame rate slowdown due to the moving background but the other levels show the normal speed of the Megamix engine. After defeating the boss, UraBahn, you are shown a medley of your finishing moves of the all previous matches and some still images of Sega fighters as the credits role to another kickass Sega tune. And finally, a really easy going tune with the rather enjoyable to watch name entry page completes your Fighters Megamix experience

*DEEP SIGH AND BREATH* shoot how i wish i went back in time and live again when i was 13 1/2 yrs old,the ending song(it was my fave) brings lots of memories from that era :(

That would be awesome. Just throw a bunch of Sonic characters with a Sega Rally car & the Bonanza Bros. with Segata Sanshiro & 2 Rubber Ducks & a giant loaf of bread with a red stapler. There you go. Fighters Megamix 2.

Rather than a re-release of this I'd like to see a sequel. There are plenty of characters that can be added and it'd be great to see how the game plays out with updated gameplay.

Okay, so we all know that this game was awesome! You want your voices to be heard? Sega has a Facebook page. Your mission...go there and flood their discussion boards about releasing this game again for Xbox Live Arcade. They just released After Burner Climax today, so if we band together, we CAN make this happen! They do check their boards, and listen to the fans! LET'S DO THIS!

You know, I think that with Candy's kitty fist of death fighting style, she's reminiscent of how Felicia from Darkstalkers would look if you strip the catsuit & the over the top powers away. Put her in a 3D realm. Then give her a Gwen Stefani Harajuku Girl makeover.
