Adventurous and high-paying tourists are being offered the chance to make "first contact" with some of the world's last remaining uncontacted tribes.
First contact with the outside world usually spells disaster for genuine uncontacted tribes.
Presented by Mark Anstice, an experienced expedition leader and author of a book also called First Contact, this film looks at the complex issues surrounding the ethics of first contact and meets the people involved.

"...held the belief that the arrival of the white ghosts in their territory is a sign the sky will fall down..." So who contacted them and found out that they believed that? I guess another tribe, possibly. If that's their belief it's well founded. The guy running this looks, talks, and acts like a hustler.
it might be fake. and this fella says that everyone should be the right. it's silly. it's not about right. it's an argument to legalize making money from other people, and to legalize the negative impact of ethnotourism...
I am an anthropology major and I believe that non professionals need to stop going into places they dont belong. And to put it plainly I feel that what Kelly Woolford is doing is wrong these PEOPLEARE NOT A SPECTACLE FOR ENTERTAINMENT!! This is a very delicate study that should never be exploited!
They run into an uncontacted tribe on day 2... Obviously a scam, you dont just go looking for uncontacted peoples and find 'm in less than 2 days. It can take months... And most uncontacted rainforest tribes are nomadic, they never stay in the same place so you never know where to find them. One big set up...
i suggest the governments of these lands have a little chat with Kelly Woolford. who is he to lead foriegners all over the woods on theyre soveriegn lands?? i advise he go nowhere unless respective governments have park rangers included in his bush travels.
