....Obviously you do not understand the meaning of this song. Yes it is asking one to put aside there belief's for a second and "imagine" a world without religion. But can you? The song is asking you to imagine a world with people not sacrificing themselves and others for religion.

It's not only religion. It's also giving up your material possessions and embracing the world rather than living day to day going to work rather than helping others. Know that I am not trying to say you are wrong but you forgot a vital part.

We fight over possessions just as much as religion. Oil in modern times and expanding the empire during medieval times. Religion is not bad. It oppresses no one. Fanatics and greedy leaders cause the damage that is done.
