It is a typical morning in Felton California at the Roaring Camp and Big Trees Railroad. While one of their three Shay's is being fired up and ready for todays trip up the mountain a CF-7 with a special trainload from Mount Herman passes by and then we climb aboard a section section for the trip down to Santa Cruz's Boardwalk next to the beach. This is the only train in the country that literally goes from the mountains to the beach passing from Giant Redwoods to sand and volley ball nets.
You are so right Kevin. When I was eight years old, I came here and both engines had the original leslie RS-3Ls.

I'm glad to se the 2600 was out on the line I wish they used her on the beach train more often she's the only one of the two that still has it's original Santa Fe issued Leslie RS-3L horn that crummy K5 on the 2641 makes me sick!
