Journey Toronto - Never Walk Away/Only the Young

September 5, 2008. Journey played the Molson Amphitheatre in Toronto, their only Canadian stop of the tour, on Arnel Pineda's birthday. They opened up with Never Walk Away, leading into Only the Young. Despite postponing their concert in Manchester, New Hampshire just a couple nights before (due to Arnel's bronchitis) he managed to put on a great performance for the crowd of about 15,000.

Awesome vids u got here. thanks for sharing! Having watched this line up live 3x already, i can say this is not Arnel's best performance (he's not 100% well), but still GOOD.

I agree. My favorite performance is still the Vina Festival in Chile (maybe because of their awesome stage) and the revalation of Arnel (all pun intended). But considering how he was just coming back from an illness (whether it be acid reflux, bronchitis or otherwise) it was amazing to see his come-back, running and jumping around six feet in the air.

thanks Rico. i hope he recovers fully well & dont' get sick again for the next shows. his voice seems to strain in some of the ballads like Faith.., AATY,etc. He is not fully recoverd. I can tell coz I have watched their shows twice already.But he did great nevertherless but I'm just concerned he's gonna harm his vocal chords by singing in less top form. They shld space the shows well next year to allow him more rest bet. shows or otherwise they will kill the golden voice.

I guess Arnel has limited his budget for wardrobe. I don't know how much he's recovered from bronchitis, but as I've said before, he was running around the stage like a little Manila jumping bean.

I like how Arnel can mimic Steve's moves on stage. Augeri didn't do that.

Actually jerkydick, there's a video clip here on YT of scenes from the Mark Wahlberg movie with Anel singing "Faithfully" on the track. It's quite good really...you''ll probably like it...
