@XxPoints2shopsxX How can you think DirectX is better than OpenGL if you don't know how they differ in terms of performance? Then no research was done.

@Demoras Did some research and Directx was better than Opengl, but as far as performance in Opengl I don't know.

i am wondering if someone could help me, i have installed cod4, am able to run the game in mp haven't tried sp yet. but it soo bloody laggy, what tweaks do i have to make to make it run smooth, i turned everything to min, soft edge and the few others are off but seems the same. have even tried cod1 but that just seemed hassle to install and getting it to play if it decided to load..

@mrmagoo662 Is that a serious question? Well, in case it was: We basically aim and shoot with the mouse and move around and do all other actions with the keyboard, usually using a standard WSAD key setup. With some games you can plug in an XBox 360 controller.

what was meant was If people actually made games for linux, linux would probably be better than windows.
