It's finally done! My second Halo 3 montage, Fate. I've spent the last month editing this on and off and I can confidently say, this is my best edit yet and I love every second of it! I don't know why, but for some reason it always seems to me that my clips are always the hardest to edit, whether they're good or bad. I have lots to say but I'll try to keep it short.

I started this montage over a year and a half ago. I was making good progress and I had a nice intro and song already edited. After hearing about Spek through Snip3tality, I decided to hit him up and in a few days, he whipped me up a few sick 3D logos. I still can't thank him enough. Anyways, when I was near finished, I made a quick trailer and released it. I thought I'd be able to finish and put up the tage well before what I said but the more and more I watched the renders, the more I hated it. It was so boring. The song was plain and generic and it just didn't feel like something I wanted to release. So I scrapped an intro, two full songs and the credits and started over. This was near the time Sor3 released Best Man's montage and I immediately decided that was the style I wanted to follow when editing my montage. I took out a bunch of triples and rocket overkills and made sure I kept only my sick clips. I started off extremely enthusiastic and finished the intro in about a week. I started the first song and I got bored of it right away. I kept rolling through songs until I found his one band called We Made God. All of their songs were great and I got to work right away. I finished the first 40 seconds in a few days and showed it to a bunch of people including Standards, Mayhem and Konnvict. I got a few pointers and tweaked a few things and soon I was done the whole first song. Then I got lazy again and I decided to set a deadline. My birthday, the 23rd of October. It was what gave me the motivation to finish. Giving myself a deadline got me to ork more efficiently and I got a lot more done over a shorter period of time.

The gameplay consists of my favourite clips from the last year of Halo 3 and a few from before. Keep in mind, all of these clips are from at least over a year ago, before the release of Reach.

Thanks to all the people that made my Halo 3 experience what it was and I'm really sorry if I forgot you. Thank you to all the people who critiqued my renders and helped me out along the road.

I know it was long. I said I'd try to keep it short :D

lens flares are a no no. its not a bad tage, but i dont think u really needed to be like best man tage lol. its not bad, but it just reminds me too much of best man tage (which is my personal favorite tage). All i say is watch the lens flares in the beginning as well the song choice.
