This is the music video for Sean Penn's INTO THE WILD. The movie is about 22-year old Chris McCandles who decides to give up everything and travel across the country and onto Alaska.

sadly you dont know how good something is until it's gone. sadly that's the way it was for chris. he will never know how MUCH of an inspiration he was to both me and the millions of other people that have had the pleasure of hearing about his life. He doesn't just motivate me. he inspires me to think the same. because honestly what he made me realize is at the end of your life, are you TRULY happy with what you've done? i know he was. long live chris mccandless

to find myself at least once in the most ancient of conditions... no thank you... our ancestors did that for us and worked and sacrificed so that future generations wouldnt have to live like this... i'll take my loving family and day and modern day conveniences... but if i attempted this, i would not be so ill prepared because dont think for one moment as he was dying he regretted ever doing this...
