Regardless if anyone really knows what the "hey anybody got any batteries?" means, I think the whole point of putting it in there was so we can have a discussion about it to figure it out. Yes it's confusing, and but that's what Nike wanted to execute. For marketers, one of the ways to put something (or in this case, the brand NIKE) in a consumers short term memory is to have "missing info or unexpected value". Which makes that part seem obvious now...
