A Chlark video to Songbird sung by Eva Cassidy. There are a couple of glitches in the video and my apologies for that. I am tired of all the problems that keep popping up with this video and so I figure I'll post it as it is, else it will never see the light of day!

I'm not sure where they're going with Chlark next season. Spoilers seem to indicate there may be something going on on that front, but one never knows with SV these days. Seems all good storytelling is being sacrificed in order for SV to be "iconic."

The wergild aspect of Chloe's rare, illicit moments of attention or meaningful contact with Clark, the fact that they almost only came after she had literally shed her own blood in his defence, adds a poignancy, a "nightingale and the rose" self-sacrifice, which is but elevated by the inestimable Eva and her transcendant tones. The full series span also highlights how much Clark was her hero from day one, long before any powers were known, and thus how loyal and true a friend she was.

WHAT glitches? This video is so sweet! Sorry everyone but Clark is a bit of a doofus for choosing others over Chloe. This season they have had major falling outs and I really think Chlark is over. They have him falling all over himself for Lois, who I really don't like but realize that's how the story is supposed to go. I love this video.
