For a J-Body, 150 horsepower would have been nothing to sneeze at. My Mom had an Oldsmobile Firenza with the base 2.0L engine...it didn't set the world on fire, but it was pretty peppy most of the time.
It's no wonder GM was about to fold.... It produced crap like this for 30 years. Even now they can't compete with Japanese & Korean imports... Even ford has them beat... Though they are outpacing chyrsler.... The worst American car company.
@voltron821 That's because the 80s wasn't a friendly era for power and performance, of course the cars from the 80s are much lighter than today's vehicles

My mother used to own a 1983 Pontiac 2000 and it was a POS, it was the base 2.0 Liter engine, you don't see too many of these cars around anymore
