  • These antenna things are so imaginative and interesting.

  • well to go it to work on VHF you would have to make each ends of the dipole longer, however then it wouldn't fit on the shoe box! ;)

  • Two things, 1. Does this actually work? 2. Does this pick up analog?

  • Step One:

    Steal a box of sneakers...

    The antenna is a half wave dipole at 476 Mhz. This is UHF TV channel 14. This is a good antenna if you are between two stations on the same channel 180 degrees apart. Probably wouldn't work too well on VHF.

  • Is this just a high band-Di-pole antenna?
