Folks, this was one of THE all-time pioneers of home computer gaming. She was part of making the first-ever graphic adventure.

I miss her so much. She really knew how to make a charming game and story. Come back to gaming, Roberta! lol.

@AFANARCHIST Never heard of the serial killer. Probably cuz she's British, which means she's irrelevant (American translation = nobody gives a fuck about her). Only the game designer Roberta Williams matters because of her design of King's Quest, who pioneered adventure gaming when you were in diapers (here's the part where you say, duh, what's a non-PS3 fucking adventure game?) Dumbass.

Update: I bought the Kings quest collection and now i just have to wait for it to show up. Ebay yet again. now I just need Leisure Suit Larry 7 and my collection will be compete. my Sierra one anyway.

@ryan489 Don't listen to a word of what you heard. Phantasmagoria is one of the greatest Sierra games of all time. It has a wonderful storyline and it's so scary, Stepehen King is a wannabe next to it!

Roberta Williams is my hero and probably the biggest influence on my life. I'm 28 years old, and I literally grew up playing through her adventures. These stories have shaped my core character, cultivated my imagination, and fostered the path of my professional career. I am now a software engineer with a nagging passion for game-driven storytelling which will hopefully soon lead me on my own indie-gaming path. I wish I could thank Roberta and Ken properly.
