ABSTRACT: A critical analysis of the properties of problematic plant components and the contexts in which they become relevant. The seminar seeks to delineate the limitations of the current scientific data available for these compounds in order to stimulate research in lacking areas. The seminar also seeks to teach members of the community how to best present this information in order to avoid being easily discredited or considered alarmist.

  • This video is worthless without the slides.

  • Mat is razor sharp.

  • @Deradune I understand where your coming from but what about all the lions, wolves, bears, carnivores, and even herbivores on occasion. How come it is that they eat other animals yet when a human does it, it's somehow wrong? Should lions become vegetarians as well? I saw a vid of a lion straight up killing a baby cheetah. It was kinda sad in a way, but (as the Lion King said it so well lol) Tis the circle of life :) We ALL gotta go someday.

  • @michaelckeene I totally agree about grass-fed cows being the only way to go!!!

  • @Deradune I understand, but you do realize that soy, corn, and wheat farming involves pest management, and therefore the death of thousands of mice, rats, prarie dogs, rabbits and insects, whereas the production of grass fed, pastured cattle or bison, living as they do on unmanaged pasture, does so to a much lesser degree, yeah? In terms of numbers of animals killed, you'd be better off eating game or grass fed beef.

  • The slides would greatly improve this video!

  • Correction, they're in order but he skips a few.

  • Unfortunately they're not in the same order.

  • @electricblackhorse Remove the spaces. It's the second presentation in the scroll on the right.

  • I don't want to be a vegetarian because I don't have sharp teeth, etc. I want to be vegetarian because I can't live feeling good about myself killing animals to eat them. There are more and more people who are feeling this way today.
