The first thing you notice is that the jowls get longer (Johnson,Nixon & Ford), thinning hair or hairlines-indicates high stress for long periods of time due to crisis or contentious policy decisions. Bags under eyes-indicates very little REM sleep due to constant travel and/or stress. (Clinton,Nixon), Significant weight loss (Bush, Clinton) seen in the face. The only president who seem to not have aged would be Reagan. However, his Alzheimers may have been exacerbated by the stress.

@evilmasterful he sure did.

hmm....saggy, evil eyes, thin hairline. Nope Nixon didnt change much.

You could do this with any middle aged man.

Maybe we should take into account their time in office (ford for two and a half years vs. clinton for eight). And bush sr. looks the same.

@evilmasterful i think it was jim carter

Hmm... the later ones seemed to age the most. I wonder if the job gets more aggravating as the media circus has grown over time.

being a president's a hell of a job, it must sure be tough.
out of all of them, only ford, carter, reagan, and clinton actually aged some. the rest looked a bit the same before and after.

Gerald Ford aged a LOT in only two years !! He was in office August 1974-January 1977.
