@GamerGuy51 Ok that shows how stupid you are because that lazar can and will burn threw paper if you push the gain up hi enough and it is bouncing off a glass mirror not a piece of plastic. (Do I need to prove you wrong on that to?) and you know exactly what video I’m talking about. As for spelling I type everything in word and cut and paste from time to time words change but I truly do not care my spelling makes me no less right!

@ClovisXboxRepair you're so wrong its not even funny. the laser is just an infrared light bouncing off of plastic medium(non photosensitive)...you can't do anything to damage the disc with the laser, but you can break the laser adjusting it wrong, but a new one is only bucks anyways. btw, apache's where around since 1986 in the army....ancient by current standards.

@GamerGuy51 It is not fair for you to post comments like this asking a question and keep me blocked me blocked so I cannot answer them. 1st if you adjust the gain on the lazar it will start writing on the disk and in some cases even Bern a hole in the lens and 2nd yea the Apache helicopters, BLACKHAWKS and the OH 51 Delta’s are just to name a few are Dinosaurs? @glader93ed if it's stuck open that means your tray jumped track...there is a peg on the right side under the tray that needs to be all the way right so it will get back into the trays track. does that make sense?

i did what you did at 5:20 and manually opened the tray. now its stuck open and wont close.................... WOW great fix

@EndlessDistress That thingy he was referring to was the magnetic disk retainer and is likely form a drive he killed this man is a fraud and teaches destruction when it comes to Xboxes! Learn the truth about fake repair men like this on the HGCGamersClub PS. I will not teach you but that lazar was fine and did not need to be replaced I would never allow this man to touch a drive after the comment about adjusting the lazar gain doing that will erase stock games!

@martymoose567 just dab a bit of flux, touch your tip to the point, wait for it to get molten then flick away. one will usually do. sometimes you need to do it a few more times.
