  • @naumanjaymalik I used to take the E train everyday. During the rare times I got a seat, I'd try to take a nap, but either a panhandler, preacher, or kid selling candy would wake me up. Once, a bum stank so much that the entire car was empty. I'd rather pay $5 to ride a clean system with cushioned seats than an old, dirty, and overcrowded system. But, to each his own...

  • @leonardwilson85 Negative.Metro stops working at midnight, the cost of a trip differs by station and what time of the day you take the trip. I much rather deal with rats and bums if I know I can get from Hunts Point to Far Rockaway for the same price as from 34th st. to 23rd st and not have to worry about leaving on on-peak hours, not to mention a couple of other horrible things.

  • @naumanjaymalik I live in NYC. I'd gladly trade our system for the Metro. Our system is overcrowded and full of rats and bums.

  • Now, if only the escalators worked.

  • There is nothing Smart about the SmarTrip Card system. It's unnecessarily complicated. Go up to NYC and learn a few things DC Metro.

  • It's easy - WMATA sells it to you. And when you have paid, cares no more.

  • i am intrested to learn how

to use the smartrip! in D.C area
