MacBook Pro Screen Artifacts

A great example for the highly complimentet apple quality inspection.

The MBP came out of the box with this error.
It occures every time I start it, except it has been running for a while and i just restart it.

ey man I have 100% same problem on my MBP bout year and half old.. I'm only guessing but do you think maybe it could be you and I both over heated it a few too many times coz fans didn't come on? Coz that's the only reason I can think of, and i installed after market 4GB RAM 10 months ago.

The problem occured on the first start of my book.

Overheating is unlikely in my case.

Just got this error. Had MBP since 2007. No issues until now.

i also had the same problem, it's happening when the temperature s around 60-70°c

now i must run a fan controller software to prevent this issue . it's smcFanControl. i can set the fan speed manualy. they run at 6000rpm and the temperature is around 48°

that usually happens when ur GPU messes up.
