On the weekend of September 11th this year, three youth hockey teams participated in the inaugural Patriots Cup Challenge to honor the heroes and victims of 9/11. The New Jersey Rockets, Team Maryland, and the Pittsburgh Hornets represented the three cities most directly impacted by the terrorist attacks, and combined competitive Tier 1 hockey with community service.
