Castlevania AoS - Boss Fight - Balore

Yeah, I just love that entrance of Balore, squeezing the Giant Bat like that, practically, he's one of the hardest bosses around but due to being over leveled again, he seem to suck, getting souls from Red Minotaur, Lubricant and Erynis sure took a lot of time and had me gone up a lot of levels. Anyway, I strongly suggest the use of Kyoma Demon and Medusa here, Kyoma Demon saves sometime since using it provides you with invincibility frames for a few seconds, thus, giving you the option to ignore Balore's punches, once the other eye is active, jump on a good spot activate Medusa and then just slash him good, he dies.

I think he looks WAY more original in this game. Why they redesigned him in DoS and PoR is beyond me, but he looks like crap in those games, and nothing like this. Not to mention he's WAY harder in this easy game!

Is there any way to dodge his punches without sliding? I found an interesting series of sequence breaks this play through. I am attempting to fight balore at level 13... and the thing I miss the most is being able to slide...
