Marui Sopmod

Ok guys, this is a short video i uploaded to demonstrate what a mild performance upgrade to the Tokyo Marui Sopmod platform can do.

The gun is running at 355 fps off of a 7.4 volt 25c lipo battery stored in the Magpul PTS MOE handguard.
Internally i reshimmed, regreased and added Modify 6mm bushings.

Felt recoil is not as pronounced because the recoil weight has very little travel length now due to the lengthened spring that i installed to increase the fps.

looks good. did you just change the spring to increase fps?or you changed internals to reinforced internals as well

@koziro112 I used a custom cut spring. On top of that yes, i added 6mm bushings so that the axles of the gears would have a solid foundation to ride on. I know i did a few other modifications but i did this so long ago that i cannot remember what i did.

@Magsz Hey Magsz, do you remember what spring you originally used for it before you had cut it? Been trying to get my gun to fire at 350 fps, I'm managing 300, 330, or 380 (with standard length aeg spring, recoil unit taken out, it's somewhat unstable, with occasional 400 fps anomalies)

@aaron4820 I really dont remember. I THINK i cut down a modify M110 spring, ie removed two coils. Its been so long i cannot recall. My apologies my friend.

Seriously all these comments ripping on the fact that it is an airsoft replica. He holds it fine using the accessories he has, it is a great company (Tokyo Marui) and all these real steel shooting wannabies really need to lighten up. Half the trolls that comment do not even own real steel weapons. Internet trolls feel tough behind their monitors.

Its airsoft go get a real one man ur of age. And thats a tack stance for tbe way hes holding it hugs close to the chest and helps with rec control but its a toy so it is silly hes holding it in that fashon haha
