A rare public performance of 'Hora Staccato' for 2 pianos (transcription & additional musical development by Bulgarian composer Pantcho Vladigueroff ; after whom the National State Academy of Music in Sofia was named) - performed by 'Va i Ve' (pronounced 'Vah ee Veh' - from the 1st two letters of each of the performers names - Valentina Seferinova and Venera Bojkova) at The Rachmaninoff Society AGM on 26 September, 2009 at Chetham's School of Music, Manchester, UK.

Music provided by 'Edition Elm' - http://www.editionelm.eu/cpv_e.htm#710 - who have an extensive catalogue of Vladigueroff's works.

Oft said "... small world"
Many thanks for your kind words.
Rachmaninov? Yes! Much & many times!(my fav. era perfomed most is 'Romantic' [incl 'Impressionism'] era). Try Rach duet Prelude C sharp minor on my channel (Tip: listen thru' headphones to catch all colours/notes - esp. towards end)
My next 'local' recital is lunchtime solo at Chichester Cathedral Tues 23 March KO 1-00pm. Free admiss; be early, usually 300/350 thru' door (my fees paid from Cathedral funds if you're wondering!)

Fantastic!
I'm enjoying a tour of your channel. I have just realised that your not merely the channel owner but that it is you who is playing in these videos!
And an a very very talented pianist too!
And this is the most curious part, I live just down the road from you in Purbrook!
If I lean out my window i might even hear you playing...
Do you play an Rachmaninov?
