What's ridiculous is that a woman changes her mind after giving consent when drunk, and it ruins a man's life. My only point is that it takes two to tango, if u wake up and change your mind chalk it up to poor decision making and move on, if you feel you did not give consent or were assaulted by all means report. I'm trying to give the unfairly accused point of view (I know a few guys that have went though this in college when everyone hooks up).

The definition of sexual assault totally goes against the ideas of society which thinks buying a girl a couple drinks and taking her home is the best way to get laid. In society its always some humorous plot device in some movie or TV show that everyone laughs at. People look away or even laugh at the girl who is drunk and ends going home with some random guy. However, the law see it as sexual assault because she was under the influence when she gave consent.

Please make sure you think twice before going to the police. People make mistakes, if you made a bad judgment call and were drunk, you still said yes when it counted. This will ruin a man's life, please do not report a rape if you made a mistake while drunk. It wont bring your decision back and the guy isn't a bad guy just because you're both drunk. If you have been forcefully raped or statutorily raped that is a different story.

People shouldn't be afraid of speaking out. If you feel like something is wrong, I strongly suggest going to the hospital and getting a rape kit collected. You don't have to push charges then but you know have evidence in the future.

I understand guys are wrongfully accused but its the responsibility of both parties to make sure no one gets hurt. You don't let a friend drive home drunk, just like you shouldn't have drunk sex or have sex with someone who is drunk.

Thank you so much for posting this video. It happened to me recently, subsequently I was left with bruising and torn skin in between my legs, I have nowhere to go, it wiped out my finances because I booked into a motel to feel safe. There are some women that cry sexual assault irresponsibly, but so many others are genuine. They wanted to take photos of me and question me, but I felt like I was being a branded a whore and I didn't have proof at the time. In hindsight I would have fried him.

whay do women blame other women for happening to them, it's never the woman's fault no matter what she's wearing, look, etc. the guys should go to jail for what they've done

It's great to hear that more people are speaking out against sexual assault and personal violation. My friend told me that Break the Silence at Vassar had just done this awesome event, and it makes me so grateful that more people are trying to break the silence

About the girl that says she found heself on to of her and the comments made about her. It's OK to change ones mind while making out and you partner has to respect that change or it's rape.  He could have pulled her on top of him as sometimes happens when people make out. She also didn't go into detail as to what happened after she found herself on top. She may not of understood what was going on because she was stunned that someone she trusted was betraying her causing her to freeze up

There was a case of a judge ruling that a woman in jeans was not raped because while he was tring to get her jeans off she could have faught. which is what led to jeans for justice. if you dissagree with this ruling ware jeans this october.
