Easy Swirl 2-Drop Water Marble Tutorial on Short Nails, Beginners

A great way to start for those who are new to water marbelling :)
This was my first ever water marble video, re-uploaded due to music copyright. Originally uploaded 9th March 2011

Polishes used:

Purple polish - OPI - Lincoln Park at Midnight
Gold polish - China Glaze - Midnight Kiss

Mocha Brown polish - OPI - I'm Fondue of You
White polish - China Glaze - White on White

I DID IT! I always did it on bare nail and it never worked until i went thru all of the comments.

My question is, What is the plastic thing u hve on ur nails? Why can't u do it on bare nails?

@ladybads95 I put sticky tape on my skin around the nails cause the polish gets everywhere.....that way its much easier to clean up.

And you can't water marble on bare nails cause the polish on top of the water is very very thin, so if you put it over bare nails you'd see right thru it. I always put a layer of one of the polishes on my nails first to make a good base for the design :)

I like the fact that you used only one drop of each color, instead of 5 or 6 drops.

@asoncek Some are too thick (you can thin them), and some are just plain awkward lol. Not all formulas work. China Glaze work well tho :)

@zEropoint68 Yeah, I can get in a heck of a mess when I practice marbelling lol. I still flood my cuticles when I paint my nails xD
