    She's quite relaxed - and a bit modern. She is indeed the greatest star of them all.

    Also, Stroheim is a fucking genius.

  • I see that was James Mason who narrated (one of my all time favourite actors, his portrayal of Humbert in Lolita is a tour-de-force)...

    Despite the ego and psychosis, I'm a von Stroheim fan, and its good to hear a positive portrayal of him from his American wife, even though he was estranged from her living in France with his secretary for the last half of his life!!
