I used to grow slightly more .. uhm.. special mushrooms myself, on quite a large scale.

@BikemanforU It depends on several factors, like temperature. Generally you see pinheads start to form between a month and six weeks from the point of inoculation.

Hey, the mycelium looks nice and healthy. Good going! This looks like a great spot, except the air might be kind of dry, and the mushroom wants high humidity, so in addition to misting you might consider 1) keeping some water in that tray it's sitting in, and 2) draping some kind of humidity tent over it. That can just be a piece of saran or polyethylene to help keep the opening from getting dry. I think you're going to get some action here.
