Fishing Green Sunfish From Local Hiking Trail

Here my two boys and my daughter caught some green sunfish off one of the canyon trails here in Southern California. We used a miniature Coleman telescopic pen rod and reel combo. With such small eyelets it is difficult to cast with no extra weight, but catching fish is still quite doable.

Thank. Yes, my chidren aren't brutal to animals IMO - neither to lizard we catch nor to the fish we catch. Of course there are those that feel that fishing itself is brutal in which case I think we would have to agree to disagree. Sunfish are neat - the whole variety of species.
