  • to whom I need to sell my soul in order to play like this?

    seems like a fair trade.

  • @Juliasblues I'm sorry to respond to a 9 month old comment but this is fucking disgusting and disrespectful. Read Clapton's autobiography and then you'll see just how much of a spoiled brat he is. He's had one hard ass life, dealt with stuff as a young child you'll never experience in your entire life, and then as an adult had to experience the death of his own son just as he was getting his life in order.

    You disrespectful fuckhead.

  • If Buddy's guitar was louder...

  • Greg Rzab on bass, (Buddy's bassist at the time) haven't seen him in a while. We used to teach at the same store in Chicago back in the day. Btw, for whoever it was about this guitar, it's one of Eric's earlier Fender signature models with the Lace Sensor pickups, and Buddy's not playing his polka dot Strat.

  • This set at Ronnie Scotts was part of a documentary for LWT about Eric Clapton's life. Thats why Clapton has the lead role.

Let's stop moaning about silly things and listen to the music, after all thats all thats important.

  • @FruschendrixFan01 thank you, well put. I too am familiar with Mr. Clapton's background.

  • @icbtunit no soul selling involved?

    i'm screwed.

  • Duane had the Key of the highway, definitely

  • @Crashoverall

nobody. Just 20 yrs of practice.

  • @Lafforte Yeah Clapton playin' is pretty good but it's such a shame that the volume of buddy it's so down. Btw, with Stormy Monday we can hear him :D Buddy really got the Blues... Eric ? ... is tryin' :D

  • @terzolilu Because it's Clapton's stage and he gives Buddy very short shrift indeed. Just one measly little chorus, while he takes 5 or 6, and he completely drowns out Buddy with his comping. Buddy never has a chance. I prefer Clapton's playing to Buddy's, but here Clapton acts with a bit too much as a spoiled brat who doesn't want to share.

  • @1stHokageSama It couldn't be blackie because it's not black. It's kind of dark gray. I believe that's Chris Stainton on piano; the most under-appreciated musician in rock. Outside of Albert Lee, of course.
