  • Oh, and I said "I did not like the scene." and "I could not tell who Hamlet was and who was Laertes". That better be full credit. Its not like they say names or anything.

  • @BrigidBroflovski do you mean you don't believe the makers of the movie made it clear enough who was who? if so they do say names in bits i cut out in between

  • lol at 1:54 how Hamlet completely pushes Horatio

  • @SasukeDracoNick Oh...got 'em mixed up...meh

  • 1:17 lmfao. Good lord this is a hilarious scene.

  • Robin Williams makes me vomit. Mork is always just under the surface.

  • Hpmiss12: hamlet is supposed to be in his thirties as described by the gravedigger scene. Kenneth Branagh was in his thirties during the filming of this

  • @24ajboucher Is that why it got 3 Oscar nominations including Best Adapted Screenplay?

  • This scene is hilarious. They both fence like little girls if I was fencing I'd go ape shit. If anyone wants to laugh go to 1:17 and the scene where Laertes falls off the balcony. I think Robin Williams is the best part in this movie lol :).

  • I love Kenneth Branagh as Hamlet, don't get me wrong, but both he and the actor who plays Laertes are both too old. They both did an incredible job, but I always saw Hamlet in his late twenties to early thirties. That's why I like Tennant's version a bit more. Both take on different faces of Hamlet, but I think Tennant captures that bit of little boy Hamlet has in him. And David Tennant is really pretty :]

  • @sabrepunk Well I wouldn't say it's better exactly just has a different dynamic. In Princess Bride, they're two evenly matched competitors going for a good fight and reveling in each others skill. While here, it's more of a testosterone fueled brawl with swords towards the end, though is is very exciting I must say.
