why does he grab him in the gills like that all you have to do is hold your hand flat underneath the belly right behind the two bottom fins and he will sit there flat for you and its alot less harmful

I was out with Dave guiding lme ast weekend on the Mississippi. This guy knows how to fish for walleye. Within the first 45 minutes out he boated 6 between 20-26". I caught a 27" 7lb that day because of his knowledge. Any of you people below making negative comments, let's see your channel?????
