A tutorial video of how I do white tips on my natural nails, and how I hand draw on the zebra design. It was difficult at first to do this, so practice makes perfect! I'm still practicing too! If you messed up kinda like me in this video it's definitely okay because that's the beauty of zebra stripes! They're never the same! (oh and don't forget to seal everything down like i did in this video! use a clear TOP COAT!! :)
Product you will need (any kind will do):
1. White nail polish
2. Clear nail polish
3. Black and Hot Pink design brush or pen (what suits your taste and preference)
4. napkin to dab access polish on, and to keep things clean
5. nail polish remover (I prefer 100% acetone)
6. a dish to hold the liquid polish (i used an old glass candle holder, you can find the actual dish that's made to hold polish remover at your local sally's beauty salon)
7. A brush (I'm using an old makeup eyeshadow brush)
Steps:
1. Paint your nail half way up with 2 coats of white nail polish (adjust the height depending on how thick or thin you want the white tip to be)
2. Dip your brush into the polish remover that's in the dish and dabb off the access onto your napkin. Place onto finger and swipe side to side, continue until reach desired thickness of white tip.
3. Do your best to straiten up the line to achieve a clean look, also clean up the messy edges and mistakes around your nail.
4. Paint on the design (shown in zebra)
5. Line the top of the tip (shown in hotpink)
6. Brush on top coat,
DISCLAIMER
i do not own these songs,
songs in the video are in it for entertainment purposes only
You need to show how you put the white on and what you were doing in the beginning because I don't know what you're doing lol. I've been trying to get into nails because it's such an art haha but I can't stick with long nails too long and I work so much I don't really have time haha. Thanks for the vid.
