SKATING AT GENE GREEN XTREME SKATEPARK SKATERS LIL JON RIKER, DEVON, MILES, WILL, CHARITY, WILL, AND BB. THE IMPOSSIBLE Positioning:

I'm most comfortable with my front foot a little bit behind the front bolts, with only my toes hanging on the board. I think it's comfortable to have it slanted around 30-45 degrees forwards, because I face forward, so my body isn't twisted. I keep my foot on it enough to stay balanced, but ready to slide off with incredible ease. your front foot does absolutely nothing, so if you can get it off your board, and out of the way quickly, that's very helpful to learning impossibles.

For my back foot, I like to have it right in the back pocket of the tail, with my toes wrapped around. It differs with people, but the more scoop I can get, the better. I also like to slant this foot around 30-45 degrees forward, just like my front foot.

The positioning differs among different people, but I find it much easier to do the way i have listed above. Your front foot just slides right off and out of the way, and your back foot is already prepared to scoop.
Motion: * Going at a decent speed is a necessity to this trick. If you go too slowly, it might feel weird, or your scoop will be awkward. It's also much better in the long run to be going at a decent speed when doing these because you can take these down sweet gaps easier. For initially learning them, go at a comfortable speed, but don't be crawling along... * With your front foot hanging off the board, take it off like a no comply, but instead of putting it on the ground, try and suck it up out of the way. Don't slide it off to the side like a no comply, just slide it off, and up. I find the best thing to do with it is to bring your knee up, and try to touch your back legs knee with your front foot. This way, your foot will be completely out of the way. You'll have brought it back as well, and your front foot won't have tapped the board, leaving it to spin freely. * While your front foot is minding its business hanging out, doing it's thing, your back foot should be scooping forward. Don't try and scoop these like a 360 flip, instead, try and drag the tail along the ground a little bit more. This will keep it more attached to your foot, since you'll have to put more pressure on the board to drag it on the ground, and it will just attach and follow through. * Try to scoop forward, and high. This trick is a lot harder to do when you're just scraping it across the ground. the higher you try to scoop, the easier it is to land this trick. if you don't scoop it high, it will be mistaken for a 360 shove it, or you'll only do a 360 shove it. if you do scoop it high, it will be more vertical, and personally, nicer looking. it will also wrap around your foot MUCH better. the board is flat on the ground, so if you scoop it and it doesn't get vertical, your foot will essentially be doing a 360 shove it with your back foot touching. If you scoop it more vertically, it will be wrapping around your foot, doing a fully legitimate impossible. * If you aren't leaning back by now, you should do so. this is one of those tricks where you'll probably land on the nose the first million times you'll do this, and not realize you're probably all over your front leg. Keep your balance a little back, and that way you won't have to deal with landing with your front foot on the nose and your back foot on the front bolts... * smooth roll away! go show off to your friends, and tell girls you're doing impossible skateboarding tricks, and they should meet you at your house later...
