{ENHANCE YOUR VIEWING PLEASURE, WATCH IN HIGH QUALITY}

Hi Everyone,

It is that time of year when the hair/scalp gets itchy, dry and flaky. Well I have a remedy for my itchy, dry/flaky scalp...it works well for me and I'd like to share it with you all. I apply Aphogee Essential Oils (or a mixture of NOW Essential Oils) directly to my scalp/hair, massage it in, apply a shower cap/sit under a hooded dryer (med heat) for 10 minutes ( to open the hair shaft/cuticle for better penetration and the hot oil treatment will help prevent the hair/scalp from over drying during the shampooing process). I do a one lathering shampoo...massaging the scalp with my fingertips to remove the dead skin and produce blood flow (one lathering is to prevent removing all the oil from my scalp). The last step before styling is a deep condition...this is to restore the hairs condition to a healthier state. Re-cover with a shower cap sit under a hooded dryer for 20-30 minutes on med heat then do a lukewarm rinse to seal the hair shaft (close the cuticle)...proceed to style.

Organics by Africa's Best Olive Oil Deep Conditioner: is a great deep conditioner. It leaves the hair soft and manageable. It allows for easy detangling, re-moisturizing the hair which helps prevent breakage. This is a new fave of mine also the Hair Mayo it is all of the above but when in need of a light protein treatment it is a great product to use.

Aphogee Essential Oils: This product is meant to be used after shampooing but I use it before or after, depending on my hair's health. I really, really like this product. It will take your hair and scalp from dry/ flaky/dull/itchy to moisturized, soothe (no more tight and itchy) flake free scalp, add sheen to the hair and retain the moisture all week long.

I hope this helps and thanks for watching, Lovely

    Honey... I've had this fony pony so long I do not remember the name. But it reminds me of afro hair. Making one is a good idea... get you some weft afro hair. I am sure that will do the job.

  • Girl! Your hair looks good. I just ran out to Sally's and got some of that Aphogee essential oils (it was on sale y'all). Wish me luck I got to go to Walgreens for the conditioner, wish me luck. We're keeping it natural here Val

  • @MEWisBlue

    I've never used it as a leave-in. But many naturals use rinse out conditioners as a leave in... just diluted. If you feel comfortable trying this technique, check out some vids first to find out how to create a mixture. Hope this helps.

    Lovely
