Masters of Cinema Collection Update

Welcome back everybody! Back after a long hiatus on my CineMEA channel. Due to a very busy job, problems with my notebook and editing software I was unable to upload any new videos for a long time!

However now I am back and able to release this episode from the Aero Vaults. This video was even recorded a month before I released my Criterion Collection Update, apologies for that!

Masters of Cinema is a wonderful company similar to the great Criterion Collection with fantastic attention to detail as well. Please support Masters of Cinema!

  • @Aerodynamisch yea masters of cinema is criterion collection is twin brother of criterion collection they are both groundbreakers kino international is good too

  • Makioka Sisters is incredible, as is the whole Criterion library - makes me want to raid their collections.

  • @LightFykki Yea, if you are interested in some movies from Criterion. Order from Barnes and Noble in November. They have a 2 for 1 sale. International shipping is pricey but outweighs the price. Criterion themeselves are ridiculously expensive.

One Criterion DVD is about 10 - 15 euro even with that epic sale. But as a hardcore fanatic of movies and the quality of them, they are worth it.

Without Criterion Is was unable to watch all the movies of Akira Kurosawa!

  • @Aerodynamisch Ah, so it is a N. American publisher? Thanks, now I see why I haven't bumbed into it, because I mostly look for these kinds of DVDs from UK. Then again, these ones are expensive from there sometimes, so maybe I should take a look at the other publisher too.

Thankfully these days there are region 0 DVD players so I don't have to worry about region code..

  • @mrdth1987 Highly recommend picking up a Regionfree DVD/BR player for importing some epic Criterions!

  • @JazzyZenBrotha Thanks a lot! When a Woman Ascends the Stairs is a great movie. I really enjoy the Mikio Naruse movies.

  • @LightFykki Criterion Collection is a North American DVD publisher that releases fantastic classic and world cinema. Masters of Cinema is the British equivalent.

If you are a big fan of cinema, you are bound to run into these companies sometime.

  • @picknick21 Highly recommended.

  • @TheHuntleyHaverstock I already own If... great movie. Gotta check out Red Desert.

  • @aceyfan I have all three movies now but sadly havent been able to watch them yet.
