This is my cover of Millwork(er). James Taylor wrote it for the Broadway musical, 'Working' based on the bestselling book by Studs Terkel. I sang this song, (as well as the Cleaning Women song that this is a response to) in 'Working' when I did the musical last summer.

  • i have always thought the same thing!

  • I'm in this show right now actually. This song is so fucking depressing, and then it goes right into If I Could Have Been... most miserable ending to an act ever.

  • wow its a very interiesting sound, i like it good job

  • Great singing, but let down by the crappy guitar playing

  • Lovely, lovely singing! :) Miss you on Snap!

  • Well, then here's to having a stick up ones ass b/c she sounds terrific to me.

  • u are amazing! I love this song, it is one of my faves from this musical. I played the housewife in my high school's production.
