Angela Brown was here Thursday and Friday at the Clinton Library. She was great. I got to talk with her and take some pictures with her. She gave me some tips on my singing.

I thought she was wonderful.. Her upper notes are just beautful and easily approached.. the lower register is what is unstable and I believe as she relaxes it even more it will calm down...

Well that's the cool thing about being an "opera" person. We can actually discuss things and have intelligent conversations... Are all you non-opera people all dumbasses?

I must say that I know all three of these women personally. They all have special qualities that make them stars. I disagree whole-heargtdly that Lis ais singing the wrong rep. People often look at her and assume she is younger than she is. Indra does have a slight wobble and it come simply from entering the "world" a bit too soon and being too busy to have lessons regularly. And Angie needs work on her passgios. These women know their careers could end at any moment & are making the best of it!

I heard Daltrius do Tosca in Seattle and I count it as the best opera performance I have ever heard live. Her voice has certainly grown over the last several years. Perhaps you haven't heard her sing recently? I also think Daltrius is a great actress (and the critics all say so too).
I find your comments on Lisa Daltirus and Indra Thomas to be a bit sarcastic and overly critical. As much as I love opera, it's a shame that many unfufilled singers and other opera professionals become unhappy, snobbish critics who love picking other singers apart, and exposing their faults rather than encourage them. Also, unless you talked with Ms. Price about her comment, then it is rather arrogant on your part to assume she was jsut being nice.
