Rocket Man cover (Elton John) live performance by "Elton Frank" Pearlstein

"Elton Frank" Pearlstein performs cover of Elton John's Rocket Man with friend Irv Gershenz during a recent concert (live). This classic song from Elton's Honky Chateau album has been and continues to be my favorite Elton John song. (And please forgive me for the cringe-worthy note on the word "timeless"!)

@fpearl I will, great piano playing. & I just subscribed to your channel. I was @ 13 y/o when Elton played Hollywood Bowl so didn't make that concert; did make 3 California concerts in late 1970s/early '80s and saw all 3 California concerts last year. Palladium by far the best as I was right in front of stage; festival seating is so rare I don't expect an oppotunity like that again :)

@1caninelover sounds like you're close to my age (late 40's?), and saw some of the same Elton concerts in LA. Did you ever see Elton play solo with only Ray Cooper on percussion? That sort of motivated me to perform Elton covers with just my drummer friend Irv. Let me know what you think of some of my other covers (I won't be posting any new ones for awhile).

@fpearl, Yes, I'm 48 y/o. Hollywood Bowl was @ '75? Never saw the solo concert; I would have loved that.! I didn't have money for good seating when I was young so I was out in South 40; I enjoyed recent concerts more as I could actually see him particularly small venue like Palladium where I got in line early enough to be in front of stage. I will check out your other covers, thank you...my artistic talent is drawing, I can't carry a tune to save my soul :)
