The interviewer doesn't have a clue about what the pentax rep's talking about, does he?

@donnyab From what I know, megapixels only really count when you're blowing up large scale prints. 10 MP should be plenty to still give you a good 8x10 print.

I am about to buy a camera - I like pentax but this baby is out of date right now right ?
It has 10megpixels which is sort of lagging behind other similar models which boast 14 megapixels. Any advice appreciated .

It's a great camera. I got mine a year ago and I couldn't be more pleased. Great images and a joy to use.

lucky dogs! i'm getting one soon! Did either of you have any trouble using other pentax lenses? that's the main reason i'm going with the pentax. i have the sf10 & been pleased with it

Yep it's a good camera! I've been using it since last christmas and never been disappointed.
