So what is this guy doing now, cause frankly he has to be the best david bowie sound a like I have heard, Ive seen quite a few via utube and frankly they either look like bowie and do no sound like him, or just cannot cut it in the vocals.

Hi, thanks for your comment. I've been in touch with Tony Perry and here's his reply. "Not doing any Bowie stuff at the minute and no plans to anytime soon

Got a fair bit on with the function band and thinking about doing an originals band this year if I can get enough material together"

so that should be enough to keep me busy .Hope all is good with you and yours.

He really does sound like him, but he is moving to much, which Bowie never did he was kinda still, but apart from that, VERY GOOD!!!

I don't know what you're all moaning about; this guy has it spot on! Being the 13 yr old girl i am, bowie is my HERO and one thing this guy could have done to improve his prformance would be to dress as pierrot (turquoise ruffly outfit) and match the song from the 80s (ashes to ashes) . In my opinion, he's dressed as the proper rocker (looking a little like billy idol) type bowie from the 90s. Overall, very good vocals- haha a common way to impersonate bowie :)

I have to admit I have tried to find anyone that sounds like bowie on the net and so far Tony Perry is the closest I have come across, he has the accent down to a tee and all the right tone of voice. I keep coming back to listen to this it is so good, a pity he has not carried on performing as bowie cause to be honest the ones I have found are complete crap and he would make a fortune on the circuit as a tribute singer.

Thankyou for your response, it is a shame he is no longer performing as bowie, but glad he is at least performing, he has a very good voice and it would have been a shame if he had jut hung up the mic so to speak, well wish him all the best with his band.
