In 1923, Gennett Records sold ten special records for the Christmas season. They were advertised as "Ten Gifts That Actually Speak Your Christmas Greetings." Each recording had a special "Christmas Greetings" red label. The A side featured famous authors, humorists, and actors. The B side featured musical performances of holiday songs.
The mission of the Starr-Gennett Foundation is to promote and preserve the history of Gennett Records and its parent organization, the Starr Piano Company.

One of my first Gennett finds was by the Criterion Quartette singing church in the wildwood and three o clock in the morning.
