Russian Orthodox Pascha Part One

Discussion of the meaning of Christ's 'passover' PASCHA, fulfilling Israel's Passover. Christians have become 'hardened' to the shocking reality of Christ's OVERTHROW of Death, opening Paradise for us with all of Old Israel's saints and holy prophets! We can live the angelic life here on earth, as His Kingdom lives within us! Pascha morning 'Matins' hymns teach us from the Holy Scriptures, what and WHY CHRIST DESCENDED INTO HADES - the heart of the Resurrection !! The DEATH brought by Adam's Sin is healed now with the LIFE flowing from His Person, Human and Divine. In the Eucharist, the Bread of heaven, we partake of His Divine Energies to sanctify us and quell the 'heat of our passions' as the Samaritan Woman discovered! This is missing entirely from the western church - allowing the pan-heresies to live there comfortably, while the 'atonement' medieval theory presents the wrathful, false view of God. Yes, we're planning that after Pascha - in fact, our May Program... We also know the

need for non-liturgical people to understand the "living within" the life of Christ as the Divine Liturgy unfolds before us! May the Lord take us under His Omophorion as we tread the path of salvation now during Holy Week!

I apologized right after... Felt the need to AWAKEN Christians to the real heart of the Gospel - Christ overcame Death, the result of Adam's sin passed down to us, and opened Paradise! Resurrection has never occurred except with and through the Lord Jesus Christ! Western emphasis on passion of Christ largely misses the point, presenting another "god" who is wrathful toward His Creation. (See Jn 3:16 for our God)
