I didn't use the HO/PO's in Guitar Hero I too. Somehow it worked a lot better if I didn't use them. I do use them in II (in fast parts) though; it's good that they made them easier to do, especially for Freebird =P.
I actually started out at medium in II, together with a friend, to unlock as much songs for multiplayer as possible in as little time as possible. Then, in my own time, I tackled Expert mode.
no, not really, I simply couldn't adjust to the new HO/PO's, on account of, I never actually used them in GH1, I started out on hard in GH2, in a few hours I went back to expert, still got stuck in a number of places, though.
Did you skip hard too? ;) If you add the orange note, you might just as well go all the way, right? That's what I thought and did anyway, with Guitar Hero I.
It didn't work for Guitar Hero II though, because I got stuck on Crazy on You and Rock this Town, so I decided to shift down and clear hard mode first to practice. Then I practiced in practice mode and now I'm at expert mode again.
and that means what? only retards would start out on easy, that'd just create more problems when you start medium and have to adapt to blue, and eventually orange. I beat the first tier on expert in the original within 4 hours of starting, that doesn't mean I was anywhere close to being able to hang on expert.
oh yeah, sure, and he played what now, easy, maybe medium? I'm 5 starring the eighth set of songs on this game, don't give me your horse shit. What the hell did your comment even have to do with mine? I was talking about the shit real life guitarists talk to people who play, above all, A GAME. I suggest you keep up on those english lessons, moron.
